Elaine Streithof, DVM

Dr. Elaine Streithof received her bachelor's degree at The University of Virginia and enjoyed a career as a graphic designer for several years before attending University of Georgia Veterinary School of Medicine.  She completed a small animal internship at Oklahoma State University in 2002 and has been an emergency and critical care clinician since then.  Dr. Streithof says she enjoys spending her spare time with her two dogs, "Annie" and "Gracie", three cats, "Fiona", "Wallace" and "Boots", and her fiance, Michael.

Amanda Slider, DVM

Dr. Amanda Slider received her bachelor's degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University. In 2009 she graduated from the University of Georgia’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She has an interest in emergency, critical care, feline, and shelter medicine. Her hobbies include scuba diving, water sports, traveling, snowboarding, and spending time with her family (including seven nieces and nephews). She and her husband, Chris, have two energetic orange tabby cats, Zeke and Kiah.

Dana Hunley, DVM

Dr. Dana Hunley received her bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida. She graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 where she was awarded The Hill’s Scholarship for academic excellence and community service. She also completed a year of clinical study at the University of Georgia. Her veterinary interests include emergency and critical care medicine as well as soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Hunley enjoys running, hiking, photography, and discovering new and old music. She likes to spend quality time with her family; husband, Charles; sons Tyler (01/05) and Graham (03/07), Mick (Springer Spaniel) and Sam (Brittany Spaniel.)

Joel Landrum, DVM

Dr. Joel Landrum is originally from Los Angeles, CA. He was a chef for 10 years before entering The University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine, where he graduated magna cum laude in 2009.  During his time at UGA, he was honored with top achievement awards in emergency and critical care, radiology, clinical pathology, and overall clinical proficiency.  Away from the clinic, Dr. Landrum enjoys spending time with his wife, Kim, son, Aidan , their 3 border collies and 3 cats.  Dr. Landrum is also an avid triathlete.

Kaleigh McVety, DVM

Dr. Kaleigh McVety is a Tampa native who received her DVM from
University of Florida in May 2013. Recently married, she resides in the Virginia-Highland area with her husband.  Her professional interests include ultrasound and surgery.  She also loves water sports and hiking.  She has a black lab, "Ace-Man", who she considers "the love of her life" (fortunately her husband understands and approves).
