Dr. Will Draper grew up in Inglewood, California, and graduated from Morningside High School in 1984 before matriculating to Tuskegee University (4th generation) for both undergraduate and veterinary medical studies.  He was accepted to veterinary school after only 3 years of undergraduate studies; and received his DVM in 1991. He worked for a local practice before starting his own practice, The Village Vets, in 2001.  He, with a group others, started AECD in November 2007.  He and his wife, Dr. Francoise Tyler,  have 4 children: son David, and daughters Tyler, Gabrielle, and Olivia.  They also have 3 dogs (Gypsy, Harley and Angel) and 3 cats (Fagen, ZigZag and Caleb). He enjoys music, little league baseball, painting, and movies.

Donnie Langley

Hospital Manager

Donnie, is the Hospital Manager at The Village Vets of Decatur. He is also a partner in all three practices. He received his B.S. in Biology from Georgia State University in 1992 and worked with Dr. Draper for years before taking on the role of running the Decatur office. He and his wife Jennifer, a local radio broadcaster, live in Jefferson, GA and have a combination of 9 dogs, 4 cats and 2 pot- bellied pigs named Cookie and Scooter..

Donnie has been with the Decatur practice since it opened in 2001, but has worked with Dr. Draper since they both worked for a practice in Tucker, GA in the early 90's.

Donnie enjoys reading and cycling, but his passion is running; he usually gets in about 8 miles daily before most people even wake up. He enjoys discovering new running routes wherever he goes, and ran his first marathon in 2007.

Stacy Stacy, DVM

Dr. Stacy grew up in Stockbridge, GA before attending the University of Georgia for both undergraduate and veterinary studies. She received her DVM in 2003. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, cruciate repair and infectious diseases.

Born Stacy Poulos, she married Chad Stacy, an architect, in August 2003. They reside in Decatur with their daughter Ella, and son Ethan, along with their two cats, Crawford and Annabel Lee. Dr. Stacy's personal interests include exercise, gardening, home renovation, cooking and socializing with friends.

Dr. Stacy was honored as one of Atlanta's "Best Vets" in the Nov. 2010 issue of Atlanta magazine - her third consecutive honor in the publication. She was also selected as a FIVE STAR Veterinarian in that same publication - an honor bestowed to only 7% of the veterinarians in the metro Atlanta area.

Lauren Henderson

Born in Long Island, NY, Lauren now resides in the Atlanta area with her parents and older sister.  Living with them are Lauren's 3 horses, 2 cats, 1 dog and 2 birds.  Lauren said she enjoys horseback riding, scuba diving, ballroom dancing and watching old movies.  Lauren is currently majoring in Biology at Agnes Scott College in Decatur.


Tomika Ludaway

Tomika has been an animal lover as long as she can remember.   Originally from Columbus, Ohio, it was there she began working in veterinary medicine after attending Kent State University as a pre-veterinarian Biology major.  Tomika’s immediate family is still in Ohio which includes her mother, father, an older brother, a younger sister, 1 niece, and 3 nephews.  After moving to Atlanta in 1996 she began working at various animal emergency practices.   For the past 10 years Tomika has also worked at Emory University as a Pathology Lead Research Specialist where she has had several articles published relating to cardiomyopathy and toxicity, and its association with HIV/AIDS.  Tomika has 2 Cocker Spaniels - Haynes  and  Rudy.
